Frontend Developer/UX Designer

Back to careers

Are you a designer who codes? Or a developer who designs?

We’re a small, agile team, and we know from experience that designing in code isn’t just possible—it’s powerful. That’s why we’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and development.

About Kadoa

We build AI agents to extract, transform, and integrate data from any unstructured source.

Kadoa was set up as a fully remote company from the start. Today, our mighty team is distributed across the globe, with a HQ in Zurich Switzerland. We’re all generalists with a strong execution mindset.

Please note: At this time, we can only hire in most European timezones for this role.

What you'll do

  • Design and prototype complex user flows – Think through, document, and create interactive prototypes for user journeys.
  • Implement these flows in frontend code – Develop responsive, accessible, and reusable components using React, Tailwind, and Next.js.
    • Responsive Design – Ensure UIs work seamlessly across different screen sizes.
    • Component-Based Development – Build scalable pages using modular components.
  • Conduct user research – Regularly interview users, analyze feedback, and refine designs based on real-world insights.
  • Maintain and improve the in-house component library – Ensure consistency, usability, and efficiency in UI development.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent writing skills – Kadoa is a fully remote company, and clear written communication is essential.
  • Attention to detail – Typos don’t stand a chance.
  • Adaptability – Willingness to learn new tools as needed.
  • Product-driven mindset – Prioritize design and code decisions based on their impact on product success.
  • Ownership & initiative – Take responsibility for projects from start to finish, meet deadlines, and make tough calls when needed.

What we offer

  • Interesting and challenging work, with varied tasks including product development, operations, and customer interaction.
  • Work remotely, no commuting to the office.
  • Competitive salary and stock options, reflecting our belief in sharing success.
  • Regular team events and off-sites (usually Europe).
  • A commitment to team collaboration and continuous learning.
